Waylon Wyatt Bronx Concert reviews
What a fantastic performance!
I had never seen Waylon before, and he was truly fantastic. After a couple of songs, he was on fire, although he did start out a little slow. I was thrilled and awed to witness this live legend.
The show was marred by a seriously rude and drunk group sitting in front of my party. They talked loudly, laughed, and made snide remarks about the numbers, taking pictures of each other. They clearly weren't interested in the show, and I asked them to quiet down without success. The usher did nothing despite multiple requests. The best thing was when the women in their party decided to get up and dance in the aisle, eventually out of earshot. The usher chose to hang out with them instead of addressing the issue. Unbelievable. I was so disappointed with the facility's management for allowing such rowdy behavior and flash photography, which was supposed to be prohibited.
Waylon deserves my heartfelt praise and thanks, but The Mountain Winery's event management was a letdown. Better training for ushers is necessary to ensure all guests enjoy the show, not just the loud, drunk ones.
